What is Group Prenatal Care?

Group Prenatal Care is a unique and ACOG-supported model of care that replaces seven traditional prenatal care visits with interactive group sessions. Parents and support partners participate in group sessions with facilitated discussions and individual check-ins with providers. Additionally, they are motivated to take an active role in their care by monitoring their vital signs and becoming more familiar with their care plan.
